Female Puppies

Billie

Adoption Status: Accepting Adoption Interest

Gender: Female
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Age: Est DOB: 06/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue efforts continue all winter long as we have recently welcomed another deserving group from our rural area partners in North Dakota.

A Note from the Foster: more info to come

Adoption Fee: $760 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!

Cassidy

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Female
Breed: Golden Retriever & Mini Poodle Mix
Age: Est DOB: 07/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Cassidy is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster:  Hi, I’m Cassidy! I’m a mini goldendoodle 11 pound 5 month old poodle who loves to give kisses, snuggle and play!

I really love running outside and playing with my fellow foster sibling puppy, but I can also be very calm and independent.

My foster family says I am super smart, I'm learning to do stairs and am starting leash training and so far it has been going well.

Potty training has been going good! I am consistently going potty when taken outside and going potty on walks. However, due to my young age, I still have accidents in the home. Also due to my young age, I will greatly benefit from a basic obedience course. In fact, this is required for all dogs younger than 2 years old.

Crate training has also been going well. As long as I can see you, I sleep through the night without a peep!

When I’m not waiting for snuggles or pets, I’m very adventurous and busy exploring the world around me. There’s so many new sights and sounds for me to take in! While sometimes I am a bit skittish and nervous my foster family says I am growing in confidence every day!

I can’t wait to find my furever home and share my love with my new family! Could it be you?!

Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $510-$1260 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!

Cedar

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Female
Breed: Toy Poodle (reported to be a toy, dad is unknown)
Age: Est DOB: 07/27/2025
Weight: 2.6 lbs as of 6 weeks old
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Too Young!

History: I am Willow’s puppy and was born in rescue!

Willow is a beautiful girl who arrived to rescue expecting a litter of puppies and has been a great momma dog to them. They are all officially ready to find their forever home of their own and hope to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Cedar! She is one of Willow's puppy litter named after trees, born in rescue on August 28.  Her mom Willow is a Mini Poodle, the father is unknown. Regardless, Cedar is very beautiful with brown highlights in her dark brown/black hair.

She is a smart, playful puppy who equally enjoys quiet cuddling and wrestling and fake-growling with her littermates and young resident dogs in her foster home.  Cedar loves to explore and was found whimpering on the top stair in the house - she climbed all 12 of them by herself, probably, following a human or her mom.  Cedar is a bit of a tomboy and loves racing around with her brothers. She is also very affectionate.

Cedar is a little girl (barely 2.5 lbs at 7 weeks old) so energetic kids and dogs can easily run her over and won't notice. We recommend a forever home that is mindful and protective of a tiny dog's care needs. Because Cedar is at least half Poodle, her forever family needs to plan and budget for regular (6-7 weeks) grooming service to keep Cedar looking and feeling her best.

Age: Est DOB: 04/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Yes

History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!

A Note from the Foster: Crystal is a sweet girl who loves people and loves walks. She is working on leash manners and learning quickly!

She’s good with kids and people of all ages, but we're unsure if she could live with cats long term. She doesn't bark at other dogs or people on our walks and is quiet in her crate overnight. She goes potty outside without accidents now that she knows the routine.

History: Furrari is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Sweet little Furrari, aka Furry, Furminator, or Furmeister, is the sweetest little girl. She started out very scared, timid, and shy. She's still a bit shy, but she's come a long way from that little girl that was afraid of her own shadow. She now loves to cuddle and give kisses to everyone. Furry turns into a marshmallow when you pick her up to cuddle her. She plays with dogs of all sizes, loves toys, and eats all of her food without any problems.  She even does zoomies in our fenced-in back yard. She rarely barks at anything, she mostly whines a little while locked up in the kennel if we leave to go out. She is kennel trained,  but does not keep her kennel clean, yet. She's not completely potty trained either. We're still working on that.

I don't have very many pictures of her because with her very dark hair and her very dark eyes, it's hard to get good pictures of her. All you see is a cute blob of black hair. 🤣

Whomever adopts this cute bundle of fluff will have a big marshmallow to cuddle forever!

History: Guinevere is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Hi friends! I'm Guinevere the Doberman Pinscher, as in Lady Guinevere from the legend of King Arthur. You see, my foster mom and dad felt like I needed a dignified name since I am such a dignified breed. The funny part is that right now while I'm still growing, I am anything but dignified 🤣 My paws are very big and I'm still learning how to control them so my playing and running looks a little silly. But I'm getting there!

I am learning all of my important puppy skills like crate and potty training, and making lots of progress. My foster mom says I'm a quick learner! I love to play with toys and when I'm all done playing, there's nothing better than curling up next to my human for a nap. Comfy dog beds, couches, and blankets are an absolute must for nap time.

I am a sweet and goofy girl, and I can't wait to meet my forever family. Could you be them?

Age: Est DOB: 05/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes- would do best w/ another dog
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Hattie is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: ✨ Meet Hattie — the spunky little sweetheart who’s learning how wonderful life (and love!) can be. ✨🐾

Hattie is an adorable English Toy Spaniel–Poodle mix with a silly, spirited personality. She loves zooming around the yard, playing with her doggy friends, and recently discovered that toys are pretty great!

She’s still learning that people can be safe and kind, so she takes her time getting comfortable with new humans. Once she knows you’re a friend, her curious little heart starts to shine through. Hattie’s the kind of girl who quietly follows you from room to room and finds comfort just being near you. She’s still learning that cuddles are good things — and every day, she gets a little braver. 💛

Hattie would do best in a home with a confident resident dog who can show her the ropes and a fenced yard where she can zoom, explore, and just be her happy, goofy self. She keeps her crate clean, does her business outside, and is still fine-tuning her potty training.

Hattie’s ideal family will be patient, gentle, and full of love — ready to help this special girl continue to blossom at her own pace. In return, she’ll bring joy, laughter, and the sweetest little victories as she learns to trust and love freely. 🩷

Jolene

Adoption Status: Pending

Jolene is available as a foster to adopt

Gender: Female
Breed: Toy Poodle
Age: Est DOB: 03/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Jolene is an adorable little girl who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home and hopes to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Jolene is a spunky little peanut! She’s full of curiosity about the world around her and love for the ones she comes to know. Her shyness will last for about 5 minutes, then she’s doing everything she can to make you fall in love with her, and it doesn’t take much. From her having no concept of what personal space is, to being amazed at her bravery or how quickly she catches on to training or learning, she’ll have you entertained and captivated by her personality in no time. She does well with my resident Bichon, but would also adapt well to being an only dog as long as there’s lots of love, affection, and attention. I would caution this breed wouldn’t do well being left isolated and alone for long periods of time.

She’s learning about pottying outside and doing well with the concept of pads indoors, although accidents happen from time to time. As is common with the poodle breed, she’s showing a flair for variety in food choices so stirring in bits of egg, chicken, turkey, with pumpkin or cottage cheese with her puppy kibble has reignited a zest for mealtimes.

Jolene is scheduled for her spay surgery on December 3d. She is eligible for our foster-to-adopt program. We are currently seeking applicants who are open to doing a foster-to-adopt, rather than waiting until after her surgery to move forward with adoption. This gives Jolene the opportunity to start bonding with her forever family while she completes her veterinary care. If interested, please submit an adoption application (not a foster application).

History and A Note from the Foster: From Rough Beginnings to Radiant Little Souls

These precious six-week-old pups came into the world in less-than-ideal conditions—born on a cold cement floor in a shelter to their brave and loving Momma, Grace. But since arriving in our care alongside Grace, they’ve experienced warmth, love, and the safety every puppy deserves—and they’ve truly blossomed.

Now thriving and full of life, these puppies are everything you could hope for: sweet, snuggly, playful, and endlessly curious. Each day, they’re discovering new things and spreading joy wherever they go. Like all puppies, they’re full of energy one minute and cuddled up in a nap pile the next. Their personalities are starting to shine, and we can already tell they’ll make wonderful companions.

Whether they’re tumbling over each other in play or curling up for kisses, these pups are a testament to resilience and the power of love. They’re ready to bring light, laughter, and a little bit of puppy mischief to their forever homes.

History: Marigold is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!

A Note from the Foster: My name is Marigold and I am one giant ball of fluff! Sometimes my family thinks I’m a stuffed animal.

For 5 months old my foster family thinks I do soooo well with potty training! With only a couple accidents in the house I’m learning and doing great. I love to play with my foster sister who is also a golden doodle! I love to be around kids as well as they like to give me so much attention! I’ll always be right by your side looking for pets. My sweet spot is my neck, I’ll sometimes thump the back of my foot because it feels so good. I also have this funny quirk where I’ll “dig” at the floor making the spot extra comfy, even if it’s hardwood floor!

I’m the right amount of puppy while still being very mellow.

Age: Est DOB: 05/2025

History: Oona is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: 🌸 Meet Oona 🌸

Oona is a gentle, soulful puppy who’s learning what it means to be loved for the very first time. She came to us as a breeder release and is still discovering that the world can be a safe and happy place.

This sweet girl is timid and easily startled right now, but behind those cautious eyes is a heart full of curiosity and intelligence just waiting to bloom. She’s already showing how smart she is — she’s starting to learn “sit,” sleeps wonderfully in her kennel, and does great with potty breaks when kept on a routine.

Oona is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace. The perfect match for her would be someone with a calm household, a fenced-in yard to explore safely, and ideally a confident doggy friend to show her the ropes.

She’s gentle, observant, and slowly starting to show glimpses of her playful side — those moments are pure magic! With time, love, and patience, Oona will reward her forever family with a lifetime of loyalty and affection.

If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in helping a shy soul blossom, Oona just might be your girl.

Gender: Female
Breed: Australian Shepherd Mix
Age: Est DOB: 03/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Yes

History: We recently welcomed a group of deserving dogs who needed help from overcrowded rural shelters in Oklahoma. They are settling into their foster homes and doing well as they start their journey in finding their forever home soon!

Penny overcame distemper and is ready to share love with a forever family. While distemper can be serious, many dogs who recover go on to live long, healthy lives.

She also has some blindness and deafness.

A Note from the Foster: Penny is a love of a little girl - lots of energy, joy, and curiosity. She also goes by Powerful Penny and Pen Pen. She works hard, is so sweet, and loves to play with familiar friends - pups of all ages, children and large humans. She is a double merle and was born deaf and visually impaired. This does not stop her from having mastered stairs, nearly fully potty trained, and tap signals for come, sit, and go outside. She is a tough little fighter - and while she takes time to warm and is a little anxious at first, she quickly attaches and loves to play, and play hard with other pups of all sizes. She would do wonderfully with another patient pup of any size or demeanor - and an equally present and patient forever family. Crate training is going slow as she has some separation anxiety with having overcome illness and being deaf and mostly blind. She currently lives with three other big dogs and plays right along with them! My foster family says that they know my forever family is out there and will marvel at what a remarkable pup I am - I can't wait to meet you! My foster family also says they look forward to being an ongoing resource of support and care to my forever family as they transition to forever loving me, Powerful Penny, with unique needs.

A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!

A Note from the Foster: Hi! I’m Pickles, an affectionate, adventurous and curious girl that loves almost everything. Dogs, cats, kids, bones, walking on a leash, car rides, naps, bath time, keeping my kennel clean and sleeping through the night. Things I’m getting used to- the vacuum and the school bus (TOO LOUD). I’m silly, with a great nose for random socks, so don’t leave those around or I’ll carry them until you bribe me with something else. :)

Breed: Mini Poodle & Australian Shepherd Mix
Age: Est DOB: 05/2025

Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Pomeline is a beautiful little girl who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home and hopes to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Pomeline, aka Pommy, Pom-Pom, or Pumpkin!  She will answer to any and all if the "I have a treat" voice is used.  Pommy came to Coco's from a recent breeder release.  She is still very timid, especially in new situations or if there are sudden loud noises or movements.  She is getting braver every day, and has definitely discovered her silly side.  She loves to play, run, and CHEW!  She is surely cutting puppy teeth and will happily chew anything you leave laying around for her. She really appreciates it!  Though she is still finding her brave, she loves to snuggle and will follow her safe person all over the house.  She has only just begun to explore beyond her safe zone.  She has discovered fun things to chew with this new bravado! She is tiny and will snuggle right into a warm neck or lap for a little nap and does not mind being picked up to do just that.  Potty training is ongoing with a few inside accidents, but she is starting to understand she has to do her business outside.  She has started to bark, whine, and even use the bell like her big foster brother to let her family know she has to go outside.  She is treat motivated so time and patience will see her trained quickly.  Pommy will go in her kennel without a fuss and sleeps like a champ all night long.  She also does well during the day with a little break after 4-5 hours.

This sweet girl has a condition called microphthalmia in her right eye.  She is completely blind in that eye but that does not stop her at all!  She will run, run, run and only occasionally will bump into things on her right side.  She is a pro at stairs and avoiding obstacles in the yard.  It is just when she goes too fast under the crowded table or cluttered room.  She should not have any future issues with her eye, but she is young and may decide being a pirate is in her future. 😋

Pomeline will do best in a house with a mentor dog to help her continue to come out of her timid shell.  She loves other dogs!  She has not had a lot of exposure to young children but would probably be fine if approached slowly at first.  She loves to be loved and will be the best girl for a family that is willing to be patient as she continues to find her shine.

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Female
Breed: Shepherd & Collie Mix
Age: Est DOB: 05/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

A Note from the Foster: My foster mom calls me Susie, but my other foster humans still call me by “Sister Sue”, my original name coming into rescue because they love how unique my name is. I am a five month old Shepard/Collie mix from TX. I live with two resident pitties and I love playing outside and inside with them! I can keep my kennel clean and sleep quietly through the night though my foster mom has been letting me sleep on my doggie bed in their bedroom because my foster siblings aren’t kenneled at night and I do great! I’m learning simple commands and I’m a quick learner so I should have that down really soon. I’m learning how wonderful belly rubs and head scratches can be too!

Adoption Fee: $760 + tax

A Note from the Foster: Skye is currently12 pounds  of joy, love and happiness.  She is basically potty trained if you pay attention and let her out every couple hours. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed in our room (door shut in case she would roam) and keeps her kennel clean while I'm at work if it's not more than 4-5 hours.  She's just too little to go much longer without a break.

She loves playing with toys - especially squeaky ones! Other favorite pastimes are hanging out in the kitchen hoping something will drop, trying to get the senior resident dog to play and watching the world intently while hanging around outside.

She loves all people and has been great with all dogs.  No exposure to cats yet, but with her size and personality I think it would be ok.

A Note from the Foster: Little Miss Sunshine is so much fun! She is super cute, sweet, funny and smart. She sleeps all night in her kennel. I would say she is fully potty trained. She had 1 accident on her first day in the house, so I won’t even count that. She loves to play and get into just about everything. She plays with her foster sister who is much bigger than her. Her petite size does not stop her! No cats or kids in the house but this little one would get along with anyone. She is just a joy to have around. At the end of the day when she finally gets tired, she loves to snuggle.

Breed: Miniature Australian Shepherd
Age: Est DOB: 04/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes

Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Sydney is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Sydney is a 5-month-old Mini Aussie Shepherd. She’s a very smart little dog who already knows several commands like sit, on your bed, off, inside, outside, and out of the kitchen. She is very food oriented which will help with training.

Sydney is also a real cuddler and people pleaser. She gets along well with other dogs and finds comfort in their company.

She is still a bit shy and pees when she gets scared, but she’s learning and getting braver every day. She does her business outside in the same spot. Reading her signals is sometimes difficult.

Sydney needs a home where she will get lots of exercise. She will thrive with patience and kindness. In the right home, she’ll grow into a loyal and loving companion who just wants to be near her person and feel safe.

Sydney is currently 14 1/2 pounds. According to the vet she will probably remain small topping out at about 20 pounds.

Gender: Female
Breed: Shepherd & Labrador Retriever Mix
Age: Est DOB: 07/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue efforts continue all winter long as we have recently welcomed another deserving group from our rural area partners in North Dakota.

A Note from the Foster: Taffy has the absolute sweetest personality and a heart full of love!

Taffy is a playful little girl who adores chasing balls and squeaky toys, but she’s just as happy curling up next to you for snuggles. She did well with cats in her temporary foster home and does great with kids. She is working hard on potty training and will master it soon with continued practice and patience. She is kenneled during the day while her foster parents are at work and will whine a little, but settles in and naps after a few minutes. She sleeps well in the kennel for most of the night as long as she is still near her people.

Taffy knows how to “sit” like a pro. When she comes inside after potty breaks, she’ll sit politely so you can reward her with a treat. At her mealtime, she’ll sit and patiently wait until released to enjoy her food.

Every day, Taffy’s confidence shines brighter. She’s eager to learn, eager to please, and has so much love to give. With her gentle, affectionate nature and her playful puppy energy, Taffy will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to continue her training and give her all the love she deserves.

If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, snuggly best friend, Taffy is waiting for you! 🐾❤️

Gender: Female
Breed: Shih Tzu & Mini Poodle Mix
Age: Est DOB: 06/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Wednesday is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Hi Everyone, it’s Wednesday! No, I don’t mean today is Wednesday, I mean that’s my name; although I don’t really answer to that because my foster mom calls me all kinds of other silly names. (She thinks I look like a Mollie.) I would love to meet you to see what you think.

I’m loving living in a real home with humans and learning about the good life. We have no kids or other dogs here right now, but plenty in the neighborhood. We do have a rather rude cat, in my opinion, and I tend to keep my distance since she’s made it clear she doesn’t want to be friends. That’s ok, everyone else thinks I’m great!

Things I like:

Anything I can chew. Sometimes I need to be reminded my foster mom’s fingers are not one of my many chew sticks and toys, but I’m getting it.

Playing outside. One of my favorite things is exploring the back yard and finding sticks, which I proudly show off to whoever happens to be out with me.

Running around the yard. My foster mom tells me I am fast! Once I get my zoomies out, I love to cuddle. And as long as I’m by my foster mom, she says I’m a happy camper.

I do love my treats, too. I figured out pretty quickly that “sit” means I get a treat! We’re still working on that “stay” concept.
Meeting new people, which always comes with being told how adorable I am. (Well, it is true.) I’m a little hesitant at first, but mostly curious. I usually give a few barks when new people come in, just to make clear who’s the boss of this house ;) I just met the little neighbor girls and my foster mom says I did such a good job!
My food. I would prefer to graze throughout the day, but my foster mom thinks I should eat twice a day at meal time. Not sure if I agree with her on that one.

Things I’m not particularly fond of:

My crate. I much prefer snuggling in bed with my foster mom overnight. I will go in and out of my crate when I decide that’s a good place to chew on a stick or play with one of my toys. I really do not like being put in my crate, but will settle in when I have to be left alone in the house, which hasn’t been very often.

My leash. We’re still working on this “going for a walk” thing. I’m still figuring out that it’s ok to let my foster mom or dad hold the leash while I explore, and am told I am getting much braver when we go out to explore the neighborhood.

We’re still working on this whole potty training thing, too. I do go outside regularly and have now started going to the back door when I want to go out. (Sometimes to potty and sometimes just to play.) I’m not a fan of those potty pad things and have had a few accidents in the house, but my foster mom says I’m doing better every day. Of course, I’m figuring out that if I do my business outside, I get a treat then, too!

So, that’s me, Wednesday. I’d love to meet you!
