History: Valerie is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Meet Valerie – Your Future Cuddle Buddy!
Valerie is a sweet, 6-year-old miniature poodle weighing just 11 pounds, but her heart is much bigger than that! This little lady is the full package: affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully low-maintenance.
Valerie’s favorite place is snuggled up next to you—she’s a world-class cuddler who lives for cozy naps and quiet companionship. She gets along great with other dogs, is polite around cats, and only uses her voice when she's truly startled. Otherwise, she’s calm, quiet, and content.
She’s not a fan of being kenneled, so she’d thrive in a home where she can roam freely and feel secure. Valerie is past the puppy chaos but still full of love and personality. If you're looking for a loyal shadow who will be your tiny best friend, Valerie might just be the one.
Ready to meet your new best friend? Valerie is waiting to melt your heart!
Adoption Fee: $560 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
