History: Wade is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome who is working on his trust and confidence and hopes to find his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: This little guy is just plain sweet. Wade is really starting to come out of his shell and blossom! He has gone from not wanting to come out of his kennel to learning to dance hop and play. He decided he really likes this indoor house living, with comfy chairs, sofas and blankets. But once he gets outside it is all sniffing. He loves to put his nose to the ground and smell what the word has to offer.
He is very curious and wants to know what everyone is doing but still a little shy. He likes to show off his voice if he’s scared or wants you to pet him and you are not in the room. He’s learning that being pet and loved is awesome and he wants more of that!
He is wonderful in his kennel and has never had an accident there. He is working on potty training and doing great but still wears a bellyband because he gets free access to the house and it prevents accidents.
Wade would thrive in a home where he can get lots of love and attention while he works on his confidence. He would fit in probably any environment, but he’s a little delicate so maybe a house with older children would be better at this time for him. He is just a loving little guy that anyone would be lucky to have.
Adoption Fee: $560 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
