History: Teddy is a handsome little boy who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon!
A Note from the Foster: Teddy came to us just a couple days ago as a breeder release pup. He is a bit shy and scared but every day he is exploring more and more and gaining confidence.
He has so far been a very easy pup to care for and I don’t expect that to change.
✅ does well in his crate overnight and while we are away.
✅ keeps his crate clean! This foster momma appreciates that!!
✅ can self soothe and entertain himself. We were outside for several hours on Saturday and he was on his lease just chillin, and taking it all in.
✅ is learning to play with toys, they are new to him, but he likes them!
✅ Teddy is a good eater with a good appetite.
✅ so so badly wants to play with his older resident brothers.
✅ LOVES to snuggle and be carried like a baby. 🩵🐾
✅ has the softest coat, if I didn’t know better I would think I was petting velvet.
✅ is VERY smart, is already coming when his name is called. He just got that name on Friday
✅ LOVES to give kisses! 😘
✅ we are not sure how he is around young kiddos or cats, but I can’t imagine any issue.
Teddy hasn’t had the greatest start on life but he sure deserves to live like a king the rest of his life. Everything is new for him right now so he will need a family that is going to be patient with him and allow him the time to truly learn what being a dog means.
If you want to be the family to provide a loving and patient home for Teddy, apply today!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
