History: Tammy is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Howdy, folks, my name is Tammy! I am a 5-year-old English Bulldog with so much love to give to my future family!
While I might be a bit timid and easily spooked, I am getting more and more confident and curious about my surroundings by the day. Although, my kennel is still my safe space - in fact, my foster family has to coax me out of my kennel to go explore. Once I am outside, I think I like it though! I especially like laying in the grass and soaking up the sun. I also think I might LOVE to cuddle. I will even flop over on my back for a belly rub and curl up on the sofa with my foster mom for a nap. She tells me I snore, but I don’t know if that’s true.. Speaking of napping, I love to sleep! That must be why I am so cute, I get plenty of beauty rest throughout the day!
I am indifferent to other dogs, not one to play, but I coexist well with my foster dog siblings. We ignore each other for the most part. For this reason, I also think I would be fine with cats. I am told, I am pretty easy going. I would love to find a quiet, patient home that will help continue to bring me out of my shell! I hope that it’s you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
