History: Talitha is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Tally is a gentle soul who's learning that the world can be a safe place—and she's making incredible progress every day.
This sweet girl has come so far in foster care. She now confidently leaves her kennel on her own, has mastered her potty schedule (no accidents in weeks!), and even naps on the couch near her foster mom while she works. She'll accept pets from new people she's getting to know, and she's learned to eat her meals with humans nearby. Every small step is a victory for this brave girl.
What Tally needs: A patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She's still cautious—she prefers treats placed on the ground rather than hand-fed, and she needs a securely fenced yard since she's still building confidence outdoors. She has only briefly been around other dogs- but she did fine and mostly ignored them. Tally would thrive in a calm, predictable home where she can continue coming out of her shell at her own pace.
What Tally offers: A heart full of love, an adorable fluffy face, and a super smart and sweet personality just waiting to fully come out of her shell. Once she feels safe, she'll let you pet her forever and sweetly nod off while she relaxes into you. She's the kind of dog who will reward your patience a hundred times over.
Tally has already cleared so many hurdles—she just needs her person to help her with the last few. Could that be you? Please fill out an adoption application to meet me!
Adoption Fee: $510 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
