Weight: 10 lbs
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!
History: Sully is a handsome little fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon!
A Note from the Foster: Sully is a very handsome, sweet little 10 pound pup. At 6 months old he is doing great with his potty training (no accidents at our house). He is gentle and quiet most of the time and loves to snuggle next to you while you work or watch tv. He gets very excited and chases dried leaves when they scatter in the wind and he prances around holding his prize once he catches it. He is well behaved on leashed walks. He is doing well with our cat, but is curious and wants to play. He is getting used to new people and things. With his background a little unknown but likely lacking proper exposure and training it is to be said Sully will benefit with slow intros to humans and dogs. He has mastered the stairs already, but is a typically silly pup and has to be monitored so he doesn’t roll off the couch when he’s stretching and rolling about. With proper slow intros, he can be curious and interested in other dogs. A little Sully inner circle nose bop is his signal he is ready to be fine with another dog! He’s still learning about the big world around him, but his sweet and loving personality will serve him well.
Adoption Fee: $760 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
