History: Momma Sue is a beautiful medium size girl who arrived to rescue when she needed help from an unfortunate situation in a rural area. She is sweet as pie and has been a wonderful momma to her adorable and unique litter of pups!
Sue is available as a foster to adopt as she will continue her heartworm treatment while in rescue but hopes to find her forever and committed family soon!
A Note from the Foster: Meet Momma Sue — the young Momma with the old soul and the softest red coat you’ve ever felt. ❤️
At just 12 months old, this sweet girl carries herself with a quiet wisdom that feels far beyond her years. If I had my way, I’d call her Ruby — because she truly is a precious gem hiding in plain sight. A “diamond in the ruff” so to speak.
Momma Sue’s story began on a stranger’s porch several states away, where she bravely delivered her beautiful babies. Thankfully, she and her little family were welcomed with open arms by Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue — and I’ve had the absolute honor of fostering her and her puppies ever since.
And let me tell you… she is magic.
She is the gentlest, most devoted Momma. Patient, Loving and Calm. The way she looks at her babies — and at her humans — will melt you on the spot. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She blends beautifully with every dog in my home and carries herself with a quiet grace that makes everyone feel at ease.
Momma Sue is not loud or demanding. She’s the kind of dog who simply wants her person — someone to love with her whole heart and to be loved right back. She’ll happily rest beside you, follow you from room to room, and be your steady, loyal companion.
After raising her puppies so beautifully, it’s finally her turn.
Her turn for a couch.
Her turn for security.
Her turn for a forever family.
If you’ve been looking for a gentle soul, a best friend, a heart dog — Momma Sue is waiting for you! 🩷
Let’s find this sweet girl her forever home. 🩷🐾
Adoption Fee: $510 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
