A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. ✨ Meet Storm! ✨
Storm rang in the New Year by turning 4 months old, and he was really hoping he’d be celebrating with his furever family. Somehow, this amazing little guy is still waiting—and we honestly don’t get it!
At 20 lbs of puppy and about 100 times that in love, Storm is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. He adores romping around with his brother, happily chews on bones and toys, and when it’s time to rest, he climbs right into your lap for a cozy snooze. He is a top-tier snuggler. 💤❤️
Storm is not a barker—unless he’s deep in an important play-related discussion with his brother. Otherwise, he’s a pretty quiet guy with excellent manners. He doesn’t chew on shoes or get into the garbage… though he has figured out how to open my resident dogs’ food container (clever boy 😅).
He is kennel trained, nearly potty trained (still working on letting me know when it’s time to go out), and very food motivated—Milk Bones and Pupperoni are his favorites! Storm is also friendly, happy, sweet, and smart. He even passed the internet “smart dog” test, complete with putting his front paws up on the wall when prompted (yes, really 😂).
His vetting is complete—Storm is neutered, microchipped, and ready to go home. He would be wonderful as a buddy dog or just as happy as an only dog. Either way, you truly can’t go wrong with this special guy.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
