A Note from the Foster: 🐾🥎 Looking for my forever home🐾🥎
Meet Spike, the ultimate play mate and cuddler!
Spike is a handsome Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a dog who balances youthful energy with impressive social skills, Spike is your guy.
🐶The Perfect Pack Member
Spike is a total socialite! He currently lives with two other dogs, and the introduction was a breeze. They became instant besties and spend their days wrestling and playing. If you already have a pup looking for a brother, Spike is the perfect match.
🙂Pro-Level Manners
At just a year old, Spike has already mastered the "big dog" basics:
🏠House Trained: No accidents here! He’s a pro at his outdoor routine.
🎁Kennel Trained: He handles his crate like a champ, making him a dream for a structured home environment.
➕Personality Plus➕
True to his Shepherd roots, Spike is smart, observant, and eager to please. He’s at that perfect age where he’s past the tiny-puppy phase but still has plenty of fun, adventurous energy for walks, hikes, or backyard sessions.
Spike is looking for a family that will continue to guide him as he grows and give him all the chin scratches he deserves.
Could you be the one to give this sweet boy his happily ever after?

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
