History: Sauvi is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Meet Sauvi - a sweet soul discovering the world for the very first time.
At 5 years old, this darling Bichon boy is beginning his second chance after life as a breeder dog, and watching him blossom has been truly special.
Sauvi is still learning that humans can be kind. While he may be a little unsure of new people at first, he has opened his heart to his foster mom and now follows her around with quiet trust and gentle affection.
One thing Sauvi knows for sure? Outside is the best place ever. Whether he's soaking up fresh air, exploring the yard, or simply sitting by the fence watching the world go by. After spending so much of his life surrounded by kennel walls, you can almost see him taking it all in - the birds, the breeze, the simple joy of freedom.
He's also discovering how to dog for the first time. Toys are a brand-new concept, but he's starting to understand that chasing balls is actually pretty fun. He loves his squeaky toys!
Sauvi gets along beautifully with other dogs and would likely love a canine friend to help show him the rope. He's making wonderful progress with a consistent potty schedule and thrives with patience, routine, and kindness.
He's spent enough of his life watching the world from behind kennel walls. Now, Sauvi is ready to finally be a part of it.
Bonus: Did you know Bichons are hypoallergenic and rarely shed. They make great dogs for allergy suffers.
Adoption Fee: $560 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
