History: We received a plea to help three very thin and sweet bully mixes from a local impound. They arrived to rescue and immediately melted our hearts with how sweet and loving they each are. They have their paws crossed to find forever homes of their very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: LOOK AT THIS SWEET BOY! Royce is a 1 and a half year old American Bully that is absolutely the cutest and snuggliest boy out there. He’s a low rider and I think his head is like 3/4 of him! He has the most beautiful amber eyes that glow in the sunshine. He melts the hearts of everyone who meets him instantly. He’s eating wonderfully and he is gaining weight and looking much more like the little chicken nugget he is meant to be. Royce is an awesome companion. He loves being close to his people but also does well in his crate-even when he can see you. He is a true couch lounger who enjoys his benebone and checking out my fenced yard. He is growing on my old lady resident dogs with each passing day and I think he would enjoy engaging in play with other dogs who were more age appropriate for him. He is one if not the best snuggler out there. Laying on my chest and nuzzling me with his nose each morning and night.
He is amazing around all people of all shapes and sizes. He is super chill in his crate while riding in the car- he doesn’t make a peep. He does very well being crated but a little birdy told me he’d be happiest sleeping near ( or with his people). You won’t want to miss his adorable little night noises and snores. He’s not been on many walks due to weather- he’s not a fan of the cold- but he walks well for short distances. This guys is no hiker! He is potty trained and gets right down to business outside. He does like to play but overall he’s a chill, calm and lower energy dude. He listens well and is very food motivated for training. If you are looking to add a big ol love bug in a pocket sized body to your heart- Royce is your boy! He’s the best little meatball and has soooo much love to give.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
