History: Romilda is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!
A Note from the Foster: My name is Romilda!
I am a sweet and cautious Frenchie lady who broke free from commercial breeding.
I have a quiet, gentle personality with my playful curiosity starting to emerge.
I am best suited for a low key, routine home where I can continue to work on my confidence. Fast movements startle me but I wouldn't hurt a fly. I also feel MUCH more comfortable with a dog companion to show me the ropes. I am starting to show some interest in dog toys, am crate trained and working on potty training. I am doing well with a regular schedule and have kept my crate clean.
I haven't tried walking outside on a leash yet as it's a bit too overwhelming right now but I seem to like the outdoors as long as it's not too cold.
I am starting to show some interest in human attention and will lay on the couch next to you.
I am a kind soul looking for a gentle family to help me continue to embrace this new and exciting world.
Adoption Fee: $760 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
