History: Pawllyanna is a beautiful girl who needed help from a rural area in South Dakota and arrived to rescue with the help of our partners from Lightshine Rescue. She is hoping to find her forever home soon!
A note from the foster: Little Miss Pawllyanna here is finally ready to find her fur-ever home! Look at this cute lady! Pawlly came to us a few months ago after she was found outside in the winter elements. Pawlly is an hoot, she makes me laugh every day. The way she’ll stare at you is just so funny. Ive been calling her a reverse sour patch kid, first she’s sweet then she can be sour. She will tell you when she has had enough pets or attention! After she arrived we found out she had ringworm. It is not a worm as the name suggests, but a fungus that causes hair loss and flaky patches in cats. Ringworm is zoonotic, which means other animals and humans can catch it (athletes foot in humans for example). Because of this she needed to stay in rescue for a bit as she went through weeks of treatment to clear everything up prior to adoption! Now she’s super excited to be all clear and ready to go home!
Because of the ringworm she had to be a bit more isolated than other foster kittens would be, so her first few days in a home could be pretty energetic as she’ll have access to much more of the home. She is a spunky girl with hints of sass, though some of that spunk comes from her having to go through treatments. She’s ’over it’ to say the least and is eagerly hoping there is someone interested in scooping her up and giving her a hapawily ever after!
She’s a great eater, great with her box, has loved every single toy she’s been given. She’s gotten really good at puzzle feeders. She is also very good at entertaining herself. She takes oral meds like a champ, never fought me on it. She should do well with other animals in the home with slow and patient introductions. If you’re looking for cute, funny little spitfire, Pawlly may just be your girl!
