History and A Note from the Foster: Nori’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. For many years, she lived without the love, safety, or care every dog should know. Her world was one of quiet suffering, and she never got to experience what it felt like to be truly cherished.
But everything changed when she came into rescue.
Since then, Nori has begun to bloom into the gentle, affectionate soul she was always meant to be. Although she can be a little shy at first, she’s slowly starting to open up, and it’s been such a joy to watch her begin to trust and show her sweet, soulful personality. She’ll melt into your hand for gentle pets, curl up quietly by your side, and look at you with the kind of trust that takes your breath away.
Recently, Nori had surgery to remove a large mass, and the back half of her body had to be shaved. While her haircut may be a little unconventional right now, don’t let it distract you, she is still stunning, inside and out. Her beauty isn’t just in her soft fur or sweet eyes, but in the quiet courage she carries in her tiny frame.
Now at 12 years old, Nori is finally getting a taste of the life she’s deserved all along: cozy beds, warm meals, kind voices, and a sense of safety. But there’s still one thing missing, a forever home filled with love. We do want to mention it was reported to us that Nori was 5 years old however upon further examination, our experienced veterinary team feels it is much more accurate to say she is about 12 years old.
Nori doesn’t need much. Just a peaceful, loving place to rest her little paws and a human who will see her not for what she’s been through, but for the beautiful, resilient girl she is now.
So, who’s ready to shower this sweet girl with love for the rest of her life? Nori is ready to give you her heart, she’s just waiting for someone to give her theirs.
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
