History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!
A Note from the Foster: Nate is one of our favorite dogs ever! He has been a total joy to have around. He is around 6 months old- still has puppy energy and tendencies but also is learning the ropes pretty quickly. He is excellent with our 5 children (ages 2-10) and lets our other dogs boss him around. He walks away and looks sad when our chihuahua barks at him. He loves to run and play, and also loves to relax and get snuggled up for movie night. He is quiet in his kennel overnight and while we are away. He goes potty outside on a schedule. He has the best personality- fun loving, sweet, and goofy. He is a chewer! He really likes benebones and kongs. He also enjoys the treat-ball where he has to try to get the treats out of it by rolling it around.
Nate deserves the absolute best and we want to help him to find the best family! A+!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
