🌟 Personality & Growth
Mozz started his journey as a shy, timid soul—reserved and a bit reluctant to join the fun. But once he found "his person," everything changed! He has blossomed into a true Velcro love bug who is now in full-blown puppy mode. Watching him transform has been a joy; he’s gone from hiding to instigating play, playfully "antagonizing" the older dogs, and happily chewing on his toys while knowing exactly who his audience is to get maximum cuddles.
🏠 Home Life & Daily Habits
Mozz is a gentle soul who is quickly learning the ropes of being a "big dog." When it comes to his daily routine, he is a superstar on his outdoor potty breaks and is already very reliable. While he isn't particularly food-motivated, he is incredibly driven by attention and love, he truly just wants to be near you.
Regarding his living space, Mozz isn't the biggest fan of his crate; he tolerates it, but he definitely prefers it with the door wide open. In fact, he’s proven to be a bit of a Houdini on a few occasions, showing off some impressive escape artist skills when the door is shut! His true dream is to be snuggled up in bed with you, where he will sleep through the entire night without a single peep. He is also remarkably polite with other pets; he is currently learning his boundaries with foster siblings and gives zero attention to the resident cats. He has a "cute little bark," but typically only finds his voice when the other dogs start a chorus!
✂️ Grooming & Care
Nicknamed "Muppet" by his foster sister, Mozz has a coat that is as soft as it looks. Surprisingly, his fluffy fur is easy to comb and brush and doesn't tend to mat. Whether you keep him in his signature shaggy "Muppet" look or give him a sleek summer shave for easy maintenance, he’s going to be the cutest dog on the block.

Mozz is a natural follower who thrives on companionship. He would do wonderfully in a home with another dog to lead the way, but he could also succeed as an "only dog" provided he has plenty of stimulating toys and a family that can shower him with the affection he craves.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
