History: Minta is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hi! My name is Minta. I am as sweet as can be and love to snuggle and follow my foster family around. I have recently gotten more comfortable so my tail has been wagging and I have even barked a few times. If you are patient with me I will eventually do my potty business outside in my foster’s fenced in yard. I don’t seem to be one that has to have a fenced in yard but it is nice to roam it freely. I am not super interested in my big foster sibling dog, but I have learned to not mind her now that I know she isn’t going to steal my food or my people away.
I had the cutest snore when I fall asleep on your chest(my favorite place). Although I’d prefer to be in your bed, I will sleep all night in my crate with only a few barks throughout the night. My foster mom puts on puppy music to block out any new unusual sounds of being in a house. I have went potty a couple times in my crate on the puppy pads and had a few accidents in the home. But with lots of time outside I will do great! I love the kids in my house ages 7 and 9. I would prefer to follow them and their friends around all day long!
If you are looking for a playful loving lap dog, I am your gal!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
