History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!

This adorable litter arrived to rescue with their mom, Astra (already adopted!) who is a 30-ish pound beagle mix with an amazing and social personality!

A Note from the Foster: Warning: This fun-loving, rescue pup may cause excessive smiling. Mercury is a happy little goofball who believes everyone is a friend, every toy is the best toy, and zoomies are a perfectly acceptable form of exercise. As a growing puppy, he is still mastering important life skills like potty training (it’s a work in progress, okay?!), but with patience, treats, and a good routine, Mercury is eager to learn and already trying their best. If you’re ready for laughs, wiggles, puppy kisses, and a side of “oops, still learning,” Mercury is ready to steal your heart—and maybe your socks. 🐶💥

Adoption Fee: $760 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
