History: We received a plea to help an adorable litter of American Bulldog puppies from an unfortunate situation. They arrived to rescue very timid and unsure however with the help of other dogs, they quickly come out of their shells to show just how silly and goofy they!
They are stunning puppies who would love to find a patient family of their very own soon!
A note from the foster: Mars is a super sweet fella looking for lots of love! He's a very nice boy who's pretty shy, a little cautious, and on the calmer side. Mars is potty trained, crate trained, and behaves well in the home. He walks nicely on leash, loves being outside, and is trying hard to learn new commands.
Mars absolutely adores other dogs. He lights up with doggy friends, and would love to have a dog sibling. Other dogs give Mars more confidence to play and be fun! He's still learning all there is about living the good life, and dogs help him do just that.
Mars has done well with his foster families, kids of all ages, and all dog of all sizes. He's working on building up his confidence out in the big world - things such as new places, car rides, and new people can be scary for Mars. He is very submissive in new situations, so needs an understanding family ready to give him time to warm up, adjust, and eventually thrive!
Mars is hoping to find his forever family soon.. he can't wait to meet you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsively more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption! ADOPT ME
