History: Little Kim is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Little Kim is a 7-year-old English Bulldog with a quiet, gentle presence and a soft, sensitive heart. She’s still learning to feel fully comfortable in a home, but with time, patience, and a furry friend by her side, she continues to come out of her shell.
Little Kim is the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention, but absolutely deserves it. She’s a more reserved girl who prefers to take things at her own pace. New environments and people can feel a little overwhelming at first, but once she settles in, you’ll start to see her sweet personality peek through. Having another similarly sized dog around really helps her feel safe and confident. She often looks to her dog friends for reassurance and companionship.
Lil Kim enjoys a calm, predictable routine. Her days consist of short walks, cozy naps, and quiet time in her crate, where she sleeps soundly through the night. She’s done well with potty training and does well when given access to puppy pads if left for more than a few hours.
She’s a lower-energy gal who prefers lounging over long adventures, making her a great match for a more relaxed household. While she may not be the first to climb into your lap, she has a gentle, comforting presence and a quiet way of being that makes her incredibly easy to love.
One of the sweetest things about Lil Kim is her love of music. She has never barked, but she will sing along when her foster family plays the piano. It seems to calm her, and it’s very cute to witness!
Lil Kim does have a daily care routine that helps her feel her best. She takes an arthritis pill twice a day (like a pro!) and receives eye drops and ointment in both eyes twice daily. She handles all of this very well and is cooperative with her care.
Little Kim is available for the foster to adopt program and would love to settle into her forever home while she completes her medical care through Coco's Heart. She is scheduled to be spayed on 05/31.
Lil Kim would do best in a calm, patient home, ideally with another dog her size where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. She doesn’t need much, just a soft place to land, a steady routine, and someone who understands that the quiet dogs often have the biggest hearts.
If you’re looking for a low-key companion who will bring a sense of calm to your home (and look very cute doing it), Little Kim might be your girl!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
