History: Lenna is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Lenna is a dainty, ivory colored beauty who has never known all that life has to offer outside of a kennel. In just a few short days of being with us, she’s proven that her curiosity is stronger than her fear, her desire for love outweighs all else, and that she’s ready for all the fun and goodness having a family and home of her own will bring!
She is mostly a chill girl, although she’s recently discovered the art of zoomies – and let me tell you—the freedom of running around for joy feels amazing! Most of the time she’s content to curl up in your lap or at your feet, or simply to follow you from room to room just to be near you. Snuggles are a must for this girl, a total sweetheart who just feels safer when you’re around. She enjoys squeezing in between couch pillows for a nap, playing with our kids in a game of chase, and spending time with our golden retriever (who absolutely adores Lenna)!
Lenna is still very much a puppy, but without all the destructive chewing, biting, needing to potty constantly, up in the middle of the night… there are some definite benefits to adopting an older puppy! She is still learning the routines of home life, being in her crate without you near, potty training, figuring out stairs and what to do with dog toys, etc., but she’s such a smart girl and catches on so quickly. Send in your application today so you can be part of Lenna’s healing and joyful transition to the good life!
Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $510-$1260 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
