History: Kendall is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
She does have a history of seizures that is monitored and managed with medication
A Note from the Foster: Kendall is a 10-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 7 pounds, and she’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe.
This tiny girl is very shy and timid, and the world can feel overwhelming for her at first. But underneath that nervous exterior is a gentle, sensitive soul who just needs patience, kindness, and time to build trust.
Kendall is doing really well with house training and continues to improve with a consistent routine. She thrives in a quiet environment where she can settle in at her own pace and feel secure.
Kendall does have a seizure disorder and an eye condition that require daily medication. The good news is that she has been stable in foster care and has not had any seizures during her time here. She takes her meds well and does best with someone who can keep her on a steady routine and stay attentive to her needs.
Her ideal home would be peaceful and predictable—likely with adults or older children who understand that she needs gentle handling and slow introductions. She’s not the kind of dog who will jump into your lap on day one, but watching her gradually feel safe and open up is incredibly rewarding.
Kendall may be small, but her quiet resilience is something special. With the right person, she has so much potential to blossom into a devoted little companion.
If you have a calm home and a patient heart, Kendall could be the one who changes your life in the most meaningful way. Reach out to learn more and meet her.
Adoption Fee: $560 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
