Juno

Adoption Status: Accepting Adoption Interest

Juno is available as a foster to adopt

Gender: Male
Breed: Dachshund Mix
Age: DOB: 12/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Likely due to young age
House Trained: Doing great!

History: We recently welcomed a group of animals who needed help from various unfortunate situations in rural areas down south. Whether overcrowded shelters or unclaimed impounds, they have a second chance at finding their forever homes and hope to meet you soon!

A Note from the Foster: To all the Doxie lovers out there who love the short-stack legs and a goofy little friend full of personality!

Don’t let the short stack legs fool you—this 12-week-old bouncing baby boy is packed with personality! Happy, joyful, and already seems to be potty trained!  Surprisingly – since he is only 12 weeks old!

He has adjusted beautifully into our home, perfect little house guest.  I’m not sure I’ve seen a happier puppy.

He has kept his kennel clean all night long, no accidents in the home either – he goes to the door and sits when he wants to be let outside.  He would be a great candidate for teaching how to ring a bell to go outside.  Not sure how he got so smart but I’ll take it!  He is smart as a whip and is learning quickly how to acclimate being around other dogs bigger than him and fit into our household routine.  He is fearless and greets each new experience with a happy and joyful bounce.

He is about 10 lbs now – he will not be a big dog at all so those who love the little squirts will love this love guy.

He’s an all-around wonderful pup who’s ready to fill his forever home with love, laughter, and lots of puppy kisses. 🐶✨

Adoption Fee: $760 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
