A Note from the Foster: Jemma is a tiny little ball of energy and affection wrapped up in the cutest dachshund mix package you’ve ever seen. She’s petite, playful, and always wagging her tail — truly a happy little soul.
She absolutely loves playing with other pups and will happily bounce around with toys any chance she gets. And when she walks, she doesn’t just walk — she sort of bounces and hops along like a tiny little deer. (Yes — her ears bounce right along with her. It’s as adorable as it sounds.) She has the sweetest, most unique little face with beautiful white and tan markings that make her extra special.
But what really makes Jemma shine is how much she adores affection. She’s quickly learning that humans are the absolute best for belly scratches, cozy snuggles and being scooped up for love. Once she settles in, she melts right into you and soaks up every bit of attention she can get. Her happy little tail rarely stops wagging.
Jemma is doing great with potty training and is already learning to find her puppy pad like a champ. She settles nicely overnight — after a brief little “hey, don’t leave me!” protest — and then sleeps quietly through the night.
She’s affectionate, fun, and full of personality in a very petite frame. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend who will play hard, snuggle close, and happily roll over for belly rubs, Jemma might just be your girl. 💛
Adoption Fee: $760 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
