History: We received a plea to help a group of male adult dogs from a local hoarding situation. It broke our hearts to see the condition the homeowner and dogs were living in. The dogs were welcomed to a temporary housing situation by a local rescuer when the homeowner was hospitalized. Unfortunately, the homeowner passed away days later. It is a heartbreaking situation and we promise to give these boys fulfilling and loving lives. They are working on their trust and confidence and doing better each day!
A Note from the Foster: Jeeves came from a difficult past and is now learning that people can be kind and safe. Each day, his trust continues to grow, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch him come out of his shell.
He absolutely loves other dogs, enjoys going for walks, and is highly food-motivated, which makes bonding and training both fun and rewarding. Jeeves has no aggression whatsoever—he’s simply a bit timid with people at first.
He’s full of personality. He makes the sweetest little whines to communicate, loves to roll around, and has the softest hair you can imagine. When he’s not out exploring or socializing, Jeeves is perfectly content to nap the day away, happily recharging for his next adventure.
Jeeves does not enjoy being kenneled and would thrive in a home where he has freedom, comfort, and patience as he continues to adjust. At night, he sleeps peacefully on his bed in my bedroom and settles in beautifully.
With love, consistency, and understanding, Jeeves will make a truly wonderful companion for someone ready to give him the second chance he so deserves. 🐾💙
Adoption Fee: $510 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
