History: Hunder is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hello! I’m Hunder but my foster mama calls me Hunter, Buddy, and Little Man.
I am a 7 year old mini-poodle with the softest curly coat. Despite spending most of my life in a breeder environment, I am a happy boy who loves people and gets along great with my fellow foster. I know to take care of business outside which makes foster mama very happy! While I’m out there, I love to run around and explore the yard. My little legs seem to go so fast!
I sleep quietly in my kennel overnight with just a minute of some vocals to make sure that’s where you really want me. I keep my kennel clean overnight too. Plus, I get the cutest zoomies when you let me out in the morning!
I’m not very food motivated so it’s a good thing I’m smart and know the basics already. I do great on a leash with no tugging. I haven’t shown much interest in the toys around me yet, but my foster sister is a great playmate, so I haven’t really needed any.
I love to get ear scratches and pets from my foster mama. I’m not too sure about this thing she calls snuggling. I think I just need time to get used to it. I do like to be on her lap for the scratches and pets.
Small children have been over for visits. I mostly just ignored them while they were here. I haven’t met any cats since I’ve been with Coco’s so we will see how I get along with them.
I am posted as a foster-to-adopt so you won’t have to wait for my neuter to be completed before bringing me home! While foster mama says I’ve been a great houseguest, I’d LOVE to find my forever family and settle into the good life!
Adoption Fee: $560 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
