History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!

A Note from the Foster: This dude is an A+ good boy.💯 Truly one of the easiest & most well-behaved dogs I have had around my house yet.👑

He is completely trustworthy to stay out of the kennel while we are away and/or sleeping. And in general I would add that he is quite a low energy guy.😴 He is perfectly content just lounging around near me, whether that be in the house🏡 or outside.🌳 Not to mention he is also completely potty trained & does not feel the need to mark when inside.🧻

He has been exposed to my three resident dogs & others along the way in his rescue journey & does very well with them🐕. He is pretty much indifferent, and coexists with ease, with everyone he meets. I think a home with OR without other dog friends would be absolutely suitable for him.

I do have to say… my most favorite thing about him is anytime I make eye contact with him, no matter where we are, whether outside or in… as soon as our eyes meet - instant tail wags. It MELTS my heart every time.🥹

All in all, I cannot say enough good things about this guy.❤️ He is the most perfect & loyal friend - 

someone is going to be really lucky to add him to their family.🥰

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
