History: Harry is a handsome little fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon!

Harry is an irresistibly cute and cuddly 20 month old pup who’s ready to find a forever home full of love and patience. He’s a quick learner with a big heart, and once he trusts you, he’ll be your most loyal companion.
Harry loves people – he lights up when someone comes home from work, tail wagging and ready to greet you with pure joy. He sleeps soundly through the night in his kennel with zero issues, and he’s had no accidents while kenneled. He's about 98% potty trained and continues to improve every day!
While Harry has made incredible progress in just a short time, he still carries some nervous energy. He can be cautious around new people and unfamiliar spaces, and may shake when he's alone or hears loud noises. He also occasionally does a little "army crawl" when unsure—but this sweet boy is learning to trust more and more each day. He hasn't been brave enough for going up or down stairs, but we are starting to try. For now, he gets carried :)
Harry will thrive in a calm, understanding home that gives him time to adjust and shows him the love he deserves. With consistency and compassion, there’s no doubt he’ll continue blossoming into a confident, happy dog.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
