A Note from the Foster: Hello world!

My name is Gary, and I am loving the good life. I came in as a breeder release and I am a Pomeranian, but when I look into the mirror I see a cane corso! I have minimal fear and love animals and humans of all sizes! But boy do I love my human that cares for me! I follow you everywhere and want to be with you always!! It's so cute until I have to go in the kennel, I hate the kennel because it means I can't be by you! I scream very loudly for about 25-30 mins before I can cool down and it doesn't help to have the kennel in the bedroom bc I can see you, but I cannot get to you! We are working on that and it's getting slightly better. I sleep with my foster mama and do an amazing job sleeping right next to her! I lick her face when I have to go potty, but go right back to bed! I'm getting much better with potty training, but haven't perfected it yet! I love going to happy hours, Home Depot, and wherever I can go with you and I do a great job! I'd love to have a fur sibling, but most of all I need a human with the time and patience to help me through my anxiety and someone that wants me as a partner in crime! I will love you so so much!! I am not a chewer and am very good at at only chewing on bones and toys!! I am a Pomeranian, so I am vocal, but I can be redirected! I am just so so sweet and cannot wait to take on the world with my new family!!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
