Steps to Standard Adoption

Please do not complete the final step of signing the adoption contract and submitting the adoption fee until the time of adoption and you are ready to officially finalize.

Thank you for submitting the checkout request form. Here is the next steps for the standard adoption process on ShelterLuv:

-Coco’s Heart will send the adopter the adoption bundle here shortly that will be sent via text to the phone number listed on the adopter’s adoption application. They will submit the adoption contract and adoption fee plus the sales tax through this

-Processing fees are not required (at this time) but we REALLY appreciate if an adopter covers them as we cannot absorb those costs (the adopter will be asked if they would like to cover these costs in the checkout). This is subject to change.

-The transfer can officially take place (if the animal is not already in the home ie: foster fail) 😊

Steps for Going into FTA

Thank you for submitting the checkout request form. Here is the next steps for the FTA process:

-At time of transfer, please have the adopter read and sign the foster to adopt agreement as we normally do it.

-Coco’s Heart will send the adopter the adoption checkout here shortly that will be sent via text to the phone number the adopter listed on their adoption application. They will submit the adoption fee plus the sales tax through this Shelterluv link.

Processing fees are no longer required but we appreciate if an adopter covers them (they will be asked if they would like in the checkout)

-The transfer can take place from there (unless the animal is already in the home ie: foster fail) 😊

-Our FTA Team will follow up with the adopter once the adoption is ready to be finalized and our adoption contract plus a $5.00 transaction fee will be sent to the adopter via a ShelterLuv text again to finalize officially the adoption.

Steps for Finalizing a FTA

Please do not complete the final step of signing the adoption contract and submitting the adoption fee until the time of adoption and you are ready to officially finalize.

-Coco’s Heart will send the adopter the checkout adoption bundle here shortly that will be sent via text to the phone number listed on the adopter’s adoption application. They will submit the adoption contract and because the adoption fee was submitted already, that will show as discounted 100% off.

-We do however need to charge a $5.00 transaction fee for the usage of ShelterLuv and our online platform. We appreciate your understanding!
