History: Buttercup was recently welcomed to rescue when went unclaimed at a local impound. They now have a home here at CHDR until they find a family of their very own soon!

A note from the foster:‍ This diva is truly your classic princess. She may be tiny, but she is fierce and knows exactly what she wants. She can hit every spectrum of emotion, she really is sugar, spice, and everything nice. She loves to play and explore, but will always come back for a cuddle when she’s feeling ready to rest. Her uniquely large eyes and slight underbite make her even cuter! 

She’s currently living and interacting with two other cats and does pretty well, but will occasionally pick on her three-legged resident brother (He kind of likes it though). She’s definitely more intrigued by her foster mom and follows her everywhere she goes. She also discovered she can climb her foster mom when she has jeans on! She doesn’t mind being picked up but if she’s had enough she’ll let you know. 

Buttercup is very food motivated and will try to get into anything she can, so she’s on a scheduled feeder to prevent her from indulging TOO much. She’s a natural at using the litter box - even better than her resident siblings. While she doesn’t currently live with any human children, she has briefly and did extremely well with them. 

Buttercup will make a great addition to any home, and she’s excited to meet a new human she can cuddle with.
