History: Bowen is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!

Bowen is a vibrant 7-month-old male Bichonapoo.
He has been with us just a few days and he is a total joy to foster!
He has slept through the night since the very first night.
He sleeps in his kennel next to our bed. We cover the kennel at night and he knows it’s time for bed.
He is successfully using the artificial grass potty box he has in his puppy pen.
He loves, loves, loves to snuggle, rock and be held. He’s even fallen asleep in my arms.
He does well keeping his chewing needs in check with Benebones, stuffies and other chew toys.
Bowen is very active and playful and has a happy tail wag!
I currently add some warm water to his kibble to make a little gravy. He’s developing his appetite as he gets used to his new food.
He does bark/cry for just a few minutes when he is left alone in his puppy pen and then he quiets himself!
If I am gone from the house for a couple hours, he stays calm and rests while listening to puppy music.
When I come in the door, he is resting quietly.
Bowen is very curious and at ease with our senior Labradoodle. He has not had experience with little kids or cats.
He loves to be outside and is doing great walking on a leash on our property.
Bowen is a very well-adjusted puppy and he can’t wait to meet you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
