History: We received a plea to help a group of male adult dogs from a local hoarding situation. It broke our hearts to see the condition the homeowner and dogs were living in. The dogs were welcomed to a temporary housing situation by a local rescuer when the homeowner was hospitalized. Unfortunately, the homeowner passed away days later. It is a heartbreaking situation and we promise to give these boys fulfilling and loving lives. They are working on their trust and confidence and doing better each day!
A Note from the Foster: 🎶 All the single ladies… all the single ladies… 🎶
Meet Beasley, a 4-year-old mini poodle mix looking for his forever person (women are his favorite) 💛
Don’t let his vision and hearing impairments fool you—Beasley doesn’t miss a beat. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s learned to navigate the world with confidence and just needs someone who will be his guide (and his biggest fan).
Beasley is a certified Velcro dog—he lives for his person and would choose you over treats… (okay, almost—he does love his snacks 😄).
Because of his limited sight and hearing, Beasley can sometimes be startled by unfamiliar movement and may become overstimulated, so he’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can continue to build trust and feel safe. The longer he’s been in foster, the more he’s improved—he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and continue working with him to build his confidence.
If you’re ready for a one-of-a-kind bond and a dog who will be completely devoted to you, Beasley is your guy.
💫 Put a ring on it… and make Beasley yours 💫
Adoption Fee: $510 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
