History: Alerie is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Alerie is the sweetest, happiest little girl with a constantly wagging tail and so much love to give. She absolutely adores people, loves giving kisses, and is happiest simply being near her humans, whether that’s hanging outside, following you around the house, or curling up nearby while you relax.
She’s incredibly social, gets along well with other dogs, and has loved meeting new people (including kids!). Everywhere she goes she brings such a gentle, happy energy that makes people instantly fall in love with her.
Alerie is doing great with potty training and is quickly learning her routine. We are still working on crate training, as she definitely prefers being close to her people, but she’s making progress every day. She’s also learning how to walk on a leash! Her tiny little legs can’t quite handle stairs or jumping onto furniture yet, so she may occasionally need chauffeur services and a little boost from her humans 💗
If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow, a patio buddy, a cuddle bug, and a best friend all wrapped into one adorable fluffy package, Alerie may just be your perfect match. She has so much love in her heart and truly deserves the most amazing forever family.
Whoever adopts this sweet girl is going to be SO lucky. ✨

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
