History: Timothee is a super handsome boy who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with his smile and happy personality. He has his paws crossed to find his forever home soon!
Timothee’s neuter is scheduled for August 20th so he is available as a foster to adopt.
A Note from the Foster: Timothee is a shy but sweet pup who’s slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. He wants to be close to people and is starting to seek out affection, though sudden movements or loud noises can still startle him. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’s making steady progress in building his confidence.
He’s doing well with kennel training and is working on mastering house training. Timothee gets along with other dogs and sometimes shows a little jealousy when they’re getting attention—he’s learning that there’s plenty of love to go around! He’s recently started showing interest in toys, which is a big step for him.
Leash walks are still a bit intimidating, and he may freeze up when unsure, so a home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal while he continues to build trust and feel safe.
Timothee is looking for a calm, patient family who understands that it may take time for him to fully come out of his shell. But once he does, you’ll see just how much love this quiet boy has to give.
Adoption Fee: $550 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
