A Note from the Foster: Taffy has the absolute sweetest personality and a heart full of love!
Taffy is a playful little girl who adores chasing balls and squeaky toys, but she’s just as happy curling up next to you for snuggles. She did well with cats in her temporary foster home and does great with kids. She is working hard on potty training and will master it soon with continued practice and patience. She is kenneled during the day while her foster parents are at work and will whine a little, but settles in and naps after a few minutes. She sleeps well in the kennel for most of the night as long as she is still near her people.
Taffy knows how to “sit” like a pro. When she comes inside after potty breaks, she’ll sit politely so you can reward her with a treat. At her mealtime, she’ll sit and patiently wait until released to enjoy her food.
Every day, Taffy’s confidence shines brighter. She’s eager to learn, eager to please, and has so much love to give. With her gentle, affectionate nature and her playful puppy energy, Taffy will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to continue her training and give her all the love she deserves.
If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, snuggly best friend, Taffy is waiting for you! 🐾❤️

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
