History: Puck is a super handsome boy who was returned to rescue when he was no longer a match for his family. Adopted as a puppy, overtime him and neighborhood dogs were not great friends and he would bark often when seeing them. Since being back in rescue, he has been great with other dogs and has been a quiet boy overall.
A note from the foster: My name is Puck! I am a sweet boy who is still looking to find my forever home! I love to be outside and love running the fence with all my neighborhood dog friends! I love playing with the resident dog, but I think I would do better in a house with no dogs as I can play a bit “ruff”, and I am a little bit territorial. I did get used to the resident dog but it took some time and patience on my part, but now I know to leave him alone, except when I want to play! I love to sit on the deck and watch the world go by, and to see if my dog friends come out so I can bark and run the fence! When I am inside, I can be found looking out windows, or cuddling with my humans! I love kids and love to get attention from them and am very good with them. I’m not sure how I would do around cats but if they are like dogs, then I better stay away! I love when people pay attention to me! I can sit, shake, and I know to go in my kennel if I am told and I have no issues going in there and have no issues with being in my kennel! I sometimes will go in there cause it’s my safe space! I have had zero accidents in the house and I will let you know ow when I have to go outside to do my business!
Please consider me as your lifelong companion and I will not disappoint you~
Love, Puck
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
