History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!
A Note from the Foster: Hi Y'all!
Phil here. I am originally from the Lonestar state of Texas!
Everything is big in Texas including my heart.
I am so gentle and kind at 67 pounds.
I am new to my foster home but I sleep well in my crate. I need a little help getting in but once I am in, I sleep like the baby I am .
I am 8 months or around that.
When I meet you I will give you gentle kisses and hugs..I am always excited to see you with a gentle welcome. I love relaxing and playing with my human young sister ( so I love kids) .I am still very scared even of my own shadow and steps but the time at my foster home I am really making progress. I enjoy playing outside, zooomies are my favorite game.
I am potty trained. I am one of the sweetest pups my foster family has had, that is what they tell me about 100 times a day.
They do have a resident dog, I am waiting to meet him and the two cats. Slowly and steady wins the race.
So if you like what you hear, send an application and let's get this ball rolling.
I know my pictures are cute but you should see me in person!
Love, Phil

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
