History: Peppa is a beautiful and super sweet girl who will melt your heart with how much love she has to offer. She arrived to rescue in need of medical attention- you can see on her white couch photos her eyeball isn’t in the best of shape at arrival :( Peppa is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home!
A Note from the Foster: Meet Peppa – A Sweet Soul Ready for Her Second Chance! 🐾
Peppa is a 3-year-old,English Bulldog with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit that’s just waiting to blossom. She came from a breeder release situation, and it’s clear she didn’t get the love or socialization she deserved early on. But despite her rough start, Peppa is incredibly sweet and seeks out human connection – she wants to be loved.
Since arriving in foster care, Peppa has made amazing progress. She’s learning to be brave and is slowly discovering the joys of home life. She’s perfectly content relaxing in her crate or lounging in the backyard, and while she’s still getting used to roaming around the house, she’s making strides every day.

House-trained superstar – Not a single accident in her crate or the house!
Quiet companion – She’s calm, quiet, and hasn’t barked once.
Dog-friendly – Gets along great with her foster sister (a female Frenchie) and has done well meeting other dogs.
Chill vibes only – She’s laid-back and loves to just hang out.
Backyard lover – She enjoys relaxing in a fenced yard and doesn’t try to escape.
Low maintenance – Not food motivated, but enjoys a good bone now and then.
Health notes – She has dry eye (easily managed with drops) and is currently on anxiety meds, which may not be needed long-term. She is about 45 pounds.
Peppa is still a bit shy and sometimes hesitant to come out of her crate or come inside, but she’s trying so hard and making progress every day. She may cower when unsure, but she’s learning to trust and be brave. She hasn’t met cats or small children yet, but her gentle nature suggests she’d do just fine. She has spent 2 long weekends at temp fosters and they said she was one of the easiest fosters they have ever had.
Peppa is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time and space to continue growing into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. She’s come so far – now she just needs someone to help her the rest of the way.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
