History: Peggy Sue is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Peggy Sue is a sweet bundle of fluff! She loves cuddling, eating, and playing. Not necessarily in that order. I'm not sure which one she likes to do the most. 😅 She was very timid and shy when she first arrived, but now she's just a bundle of pure love. She's excited about life! She loves everyone she meets; people, dogs, toys, frogs, butterflies, bugs, etc. She's a "hippy" dog. She loves everything! 🤣🤣 She has this cute floppy jump she does when she's really excited that's the cutest thing ever. Her little floppy ears go flying and she looks like she's smiling at you.
Peggy Sue isn't completely potty trained yet, but she's getting it. She just hasn't quite figured out that you only go outside. She tries to go on the pottybpads in the house, but misses sometimes. She never poops in her kennel.
She's not fond of her kennel, but she does sleep in it at night. She does complain at first, quit loudly, but usually settles down. She does wake up during the night if she hears any noises, which is why we have her kennel in a separate room. They normally have their kennel in our room.
She loves playing in her fenced in yard. She loves doing her style of zoomies. Very adorable! Everything she does is adorable 😍.
Whoever applies for this cutie pie will be a very lucky person.
Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $500-$1250 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
