A Note from the Foster: 🌸 Meet Oona 🌸
Oona is a gentle, soulful puppy who’s learning what it means to be loved for the very first time. She came to us as a breeder release and is still discovering that the world can be a safe and happy place.
This sweet girl is timid and easily startled right now, but behind those cautious eyes is a heart full of curiosity and intelligence just waiting to bloom. She’s already showing how smart she is — she’s starting to learn “sit,” sleeps wonderfully in her kennel, and does great with potty breaks when kept on a routine.
Oona is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace. The perfect match for her would be someone with a calm household, a fenced-in yard to explore safely, and ideally a confident doggy friend to show her the ropes.
She’s gentle, observant, and slowly starting to show glimpses of her playful side — those moments are pure magic! With time, love, and patience, Oona will reward her forever family with a lifetime of loyalty and affection.
If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in helping a shy soul blossom, Oona just might be your girl.
Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $510-$1260 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
