History: Oliver is a super handsome puppy who was transferred to rescue from a local impound at just 3-4 weeks of age without any littermates or momma in sight. He has been wonderful in his foster home and officially ready to start his search in finding his forever home!
A Note from the Foster: Meet Oliver! This little bundle of joy came to us as a 3-4 week old puppy without a mom. He has grown beautifully and loves his human friends. He is a little guy who is all about fun. He loves to play with his puppy toys, cuddle on the couch, and explore the world with wagging tail. Oliver is known for his sweet disposition, eagerness to learn, and playful energy. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a lively and loving furry friend.
He has been around our senior dog and does great. He has met a few of the neighborhood dogs and is eager to make friends. We have three kids, 16, 15, and 7 and he does great with them. He’s met their cousins, ranging from infant to adult. He is friendly and loves any and all attention.
He is still a young puppy and learning his house manners. We are working on potty training. He is familiar with the puppy pads and will look for them when he needs to go. He still has accidents, but with consistency he will be successful. He does well sleeping in his crate. So far he has been great sleeping through the night.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
