Naomi

Adoption Status: Accepting Adoption Interest

Gender: Female
Breed: Pitbull Terrier Mix
Age: Est DOB: 01/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue efforts continue all winter long as we have recently welcomed another deserving group from our rural area partners in North Dakota.

A Note from the Foster: Naomi has been with us since April 12th and has completely stolen our hearts! 💕 This sweet, affectionate girl LOVES to snuggle and hand out kisses like they’re going out of style. You’ll often find her proudly walking around with a toy or chewy in her mouth—she’s never far from her favorite things!

She’s crate-trained like a pro (goes right in when asked, quiet all night, and keeps it spotless!). Naomi loves other dogs once she gets to know them—she just needs a little slow intro to warm up. She's enjoyed cuddling and playing with both small and medium-sized foster siblings.

Naomi has beautiful tan eyes, a soft light brindle coat, and some seriously lovable Shar-Pei-like wrinkles that make everyone stop and ask about her! With her floppy ears and Gumby-doll lounge style, she’s a one-of-a-kind girl.

She’s been great with kids of all ages and is working on her leash manners like a champ. Born in January and currently around 45 lbs, Naomi will be the most loyal, loving addition to a home looking for a playful, snuggly, people-focused pup.

Adoption Fee: $750 + tax

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
