Mystie

Adoption Status: Pending

Gender: Female
Breed: Mini Goldendoodle
Age: Est DOB: 06/2024
Weight: TBA
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!

History: Mystie is a super cute little lady who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home and hopes to find them soon!

A Note from the Foster: Mystie is a curious cutie! She tends to be shy and nervous when meeting new people but if you give her some time she will be your bestie. Although she was unsure about the humans at her foster home the first few days she progressed from watching us from across the room to cuddling on the couch within a week. We think she would warm up best to people who are willing to wait patiently for her to approach them and would probably benefit from a relatively calm home.

She also gets along well with our resident dog (50# adult dog), although she has shown no interest in wanting to "play" with our dog. Our dog would LOVE if Mystie wanted to play but is also good at reading her signals and not pushing it. Mystie is a slow eater so we have been feeding her separately from our resident dog so that our dog doesn't eat Mystie's food.

For house training, Mystie is doing very well overall. She seems to understand she is supposed to go to the bathroom outside and she always keeps her crate clean. She does not seem to signal when she needs to go out but has done well with being taken outside a few times a day. Mystie hates her crate and would likely bond better if she were not in it when humans are home, even if you are sleeping. She has not had an accident overnight even outside her crate, but we do take her outside before bed and right away in the morning.

Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $500-$1250 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
