History: At 7 years young, Musher is a stunning husky with piercing eyes, a voice full of personality, and a story that deserves a beautiful new chapter. Once unwanted by a commercial breeding program, Musher is now discovering what it truly means to be part of a loving home.
True to his Husky roots, Musher can be delightfully talkative — he’s got opinions and isn’t afraid to share them, especially when it’s mealtime or time for fun! Behind that dashing face is a sweet soul who's currently learning the finer points of sharing and playing appropriately with toys and other resources. He’s making great progress, and with patient guidance, he’s blossoming every day.
Musher is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and always curious about the world around him. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a chat with his humans, or just soaking up affection, Musher is eager to be included.

A Note from the Foster: Musher is a sweet and gentle husky who's ready to find his forever family! This handsome boy has a calm and loving spirit. He is content relaxing in his crate, but lights up when he gets attention from his humans. Musher is currently working on his potty training and some house manners, and doing well with a consistent routine. Doing pretty well on a leash, working more on it. He’s also shown to be dog friendly and kid-friendly and has been tolerant around both a baby and toddler in his foster home. Unsure of cats as he has not been around them.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
