History: Moss is a handsome and adorable little kiddo who needed a second chance at a good life after being discarded by a commercial breeding facility. He arrived to rescue and was very sick as he was recovering from pneumonia that he had been living with for quite some time :( He has been on the mend and doing so much better with the help of our veterinary team and his committed foster family! He has his paws crossed to find his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Moss, aka "Bob", has been with us for a week. He is a delightful puppy who loves people, kids, toys, other dogs and lots of cuddles. He sleeps with us, and sleeps through the night. He is not a fan of kennels and will protest. We are working on kennel training when we leave the house. He is barking when we leave but has quieted down by the time we return. I don't think he would be a good fit for a shared wall home. House training is a work in progress and he does wear a bellyband in the house. He loves going outside, so that is a plus on house training. He has mastered the stairs, but not getting up and down on the furniture. He loves being with his person and will cry if separated by a gate. He has not seen a cat, but enjoys meeting everyone he has seen, so don't think that would be a problem. He was diagnosed with pneumonia when he arrived and is on medication. He has been perfectly fine since he has come here!
Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $500-$1250 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
