History: Mimi Bop is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon!
A Note from the Foster: 💖 Meet Mimi Bop 💖
Mimi Bop, affectionately known as Mimi, is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet. She is a resilient and loving Frenchie who’s ready to find her forever family. She didn’t have the easiest start in life — coming from a commercial breeder in rough shape — but she hasn’t let that dim her spirit one bit.
Despite suffering from severely neglected ear infections (which caused both eardrums to burst and some hearing loss) and an old untreated injury that left her missing part of her back right foot, Mimi is full of love and joy. She’s currently on ear drops and medication to help with inflammation and pain, and she’s doing wonderfully in her foster home.

Loves everyone – humans, dogs, and even cats!
Affectionate – snuggles, kisses, and lap time are her favorite things.
Playful – enjoys toys, treats, and playing with her foster brother.
Quiet – aside from the occasional bark when someone leaves the room (and the typical snorts and snoring you'd expect from a Frenchie 😁 )
Food lover – but not overly food motivated and shows no food aggression.
Still learning – potty training is a work in progress, but she’s improving with a schedule.
Kennel shy – prefers to be near her people but usually settles down if she can see you.

Mimi would thrive in a loving home with or without other pets. While she hasn’t lived with children, her gentle nature suggests she’d do well with respectful kids. She’s looking for a family who will continue to show her what love and comfort really mean.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
