History: Maliboo is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart. She is working on her trust and confidence and is hoping to find a patient family of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Maliboo (Mal/Mali) is beautiful big girl with a mellow disposition. Mali loves to follow her people around and is really enjoying being loved and cared for properly.
Thanks to the vet staff at Coco’s, Mali can finally breath! This has really allowed her personality to shine through. She’s a lovable potato girl who’s curious about everything. She loves being outside whether for a brief nap in the sun or following her foster mom around while she does yard work.
Although Mali is on the bigger side, she can move pretty quickly, navigates stairs and even jumps on lower furniture. Mal is currently working to get her summer bod. Feeling better now Mali is enjoying exercise.
Potty training hasn’t been much of an issue with Mali. She keeps her kennel clean and sleeps in her kennel at night.
Mali gets along pretty well with other dogs with proper introduction. She’s learning how to play with her toys. She likes this carry them around the house with her.
Mali can be vocal at times-not barking but making sounds more like a rooster or even a little like howling. It’s unique. Given this she may be best suited for single family house living.
If you’re looking for a loving mellow pal Mal is your gal.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
