History: We recently were asked to help a local group of mom, her older daughter, and 3 young puppies from a drug bust situation. They arrived to rescue covered in fleas and in desperate need of help. They have settled into foster homes and doing well! Flea-Free :)
A Note from the Foster: Meet Mal!
This sweet 3-month-old Lab mix is looking for his forever home! Mal is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. He’s always up for playing with his toys or a good chew on a bone, but he’s just as happy curled up beside you soaking up all the love.
Mal is doing great with crate training! He may whine for a bit, but settles in quickly and sleeps well in his crate. We’re currently working on potty training, and he’s making excellent progress for his age.
He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be near you. Whether it’s following you around the house or cuddling on the couch, Mal is happiest when he’s by your side.
Mal gets along wonderfully with the 25 lb resident dog in his foster home and does well with kids.
If you’re looking for a lovable, playful pup to grow with your family, Mal might just be your perfect match! 💙
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
